The Use of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) Photocatalyst for Photodegradation of Car Wash Wastewater

چکیده

Untreated motor vehicle waste has the potential to damage environment. The photodegradation method can decompose pollutants with help of UV-A light and photocatalysts. Zinc Oxide (ZnO) is a photocatalyst capable degrading washing waste. This study aims investigate ability ZnO as in independent variables experiment were mass contact time. used 0.5, 0.75, 1 gram time 2, 3, 4 hours. experimental results showed that irradiated lamp was able degrade organic substances. affect effectiveness photodegradation. These show use for Carwash Wastewater may be future technology treat car wash wastewater.
